Main functions of the Foreign Affairs Office
- Organization of international cooperation of SE “LSMU” with embassies, foundations, associations, educational, cultural and scientific centers;
- Establishing and maintaining relations with embassies of foreign countries and other international organizations accredited in Ukraine;
- Provision of structural subdivisions of the SE “LSMU” with information regarding the terms of participation in international projects, programs, etc.;
- Conclusion and implementation of international agreements on cooperation in the field of education and science;
- Organization of the involvement of scientific and teaching staff of foreign institutions for the implementation of educational, scientific and cultural activities at the University;
- Search and expansion of international contacts necessary for scientific and educational-methodical work of the SE “LSMU”;
- Participation in joint projects and receiving targeted funding under the programs of international organizations;
- Promoting the academic mobility of students and teachers of the SE “LSMU” and providing them with the opportunity to improve their qualifications in their chosen field of knowledge abroad;
- Coordination of cooperation with international funds and organizations in the direction of scientific research grants aimed at financing educational programs and developing the scientific base of the SE “LSMU”;
- Provision of information and consulting services;
- Conducting of international correspondence;
- Creation of exchange program databases and their maintenance.
